Probably it is time!

After months of wait, the time might be nigh. If all the symptoms are all what they look like, we might be going in tonight and then God willing, sooner rather than later, our child is going be born! I just want to pray that everything goes well and mother and baby are fine! We have had so many calls of inquries over the past few days, everyone asking the same question - When?

I am not sure what I am feeling right now - a sense of excitement and some dread also, I guess. I hope I can be a good coach for Prachi. But one thing is a fact - I cannot wait to meet our little one and get amazed by what God has given us - a new life created through us - what a privilege!! Oh God, please let him/her be healthy - that is all I really care for!

Parenthood beckons

Today is October 8 - Prachi's actual due date. It can't be much longer now that we become a family of three. And what an addition that is going to be. Many prayers, thoughts, dreams - all coming together at the same time! Not to say it is going to be an easy ride. It is probably going to be one of the most difficult things we are going to handle, but the rewards are going to be incredible - a smile here and it is going to melt hearts!!

My prayer for the unborn:
Dear Baby, soon you will be in our arms
welling up emotions like bees in swarms
I pray you will overcome each one of us
with your beauty, innoncence and charms

I pray to God that you have a safe delivery
You are ready and fall like fruit from a tree
I pray that your coming out of the womb
will be a miracle for everyone to see

I pray that we will be ready to care for you
to provide for your needs and love you too
I pray that we have a balm for all your cries
for all your problems we have a clue

O Baby your presence will give us so much joy
With whatever you do we will never cloy
You will be our own thing of beauty and splendor
You will be admired like Helen of Troy

But your health is something I ask most of God
I hope He agrees and gives us His nod
But Baby we will love you howsoever you are
We will look at your heart and not the facade

We are anxiously awaiting your arrival. I hope we are ready for this life-changing event! May God give us strength and wisdom!
